Hello Evil World

It is not easy being a fiend. The evil mastermind behind the plan that the good hero overthrows. Besides having to find a desolated place eg. island, mountain cave, old castle ect. (and they seem to be harder to get by these days, it seems that every petty crook have put his or hers (or its) mind to set up an evil empire). Make sure that the interior design has a foreboding feel to it, something totally wasted on a good guy just marching in an dispose of your (well - disposable) guards. Making sure that you have plenty of the (disposable) guards that are just good enough to hold a gun and firing in the right direction, but not good enough to hit. Finding a sidekick (an Igor is preferable - but they are really hard to get by these days).

But what most people seems to ignore is that in any universe that's set up binary, there is the need of evil.

"..[about people] They accept evil not because they say yes, but because they don't say no. I'm sorry if this offends you,' he added, patting the captain's shoulder, 'but you fellows really need us.'
'Yes, sir?' said Vimes quietly.
'Oh, yes. We're the only ones who know how to make things work. You see, the only thing the good people are good at is overthrowing the bad people. And you're good at that, I'll grant you. But the trouble is that it's the only thing you're good at. One day it's the ringing of the bells and the casting down of the evil tyrant, and the next it's everyone sitting around complaining that ever since the tyrant was overthrown no-one's been taking out the trash. Because the bad people know how to plan. It's part of the specification, you might say. Every evil tyrant has a plan to rule the world. The good people don't seem to have the knack.'"

This blog will eventually fade into the 13 step evil-doers program - from the basics - the evil laugh - getting a good name (preferably something with dr.) - getting a white laboratory coat - how to make the interior design in you dungeon/castle/space station/Vulcano stringent and plausible - getting a tick.
